Duties and Responsibilities for Industrial Paint Prep Technician:

• Remove all welding splatter from the trailer.
• Use 7” grinder to grind down all necessary welds.
• Use 4” grinder to polish welds and sand the entire structural section of the trailer.
• Use phosphate wash booth to clean all necessary sheet and tubing products of trailer.
• Caulk all necessary seams with a polyurethane caulking. 
• Transport trailers in and out of prep area and paint booth.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area. 
• Properly fill out quality control sheets, work orders, and production logs on a daily basis. 
• Perform daily work duties in a safe and timely fashion. 
• Attend and contribute to production and company meetings.
• Understand and observe all operating and manufacturing procedures.

Skills and Qualifications for Industrial Paint Prep Technician:

• Maintain all applicable certification(s).
• Consistently seek individual growth and development opportunities.

Job Details for Industrial Paint Prep Technician:

• Temp-Hire
• Regular Shift: Mon-Thur 6am-4:30pm Fridays as needed and is ALL OVERTIME 6am-2:30pm
• $16/HR
