The Manufacturer Production Associate position in Redmond, Oregon is responsible for material preparation. You’ll have a solid understanding of working with programmable machinery and performing manual jobs. You will be cross-train and work in different departments to support production needs.

Position Overview for Manufacturer Production Associate:

As a Production assistant, you will be responsible for creating patterns and solubles while meeting productivity and quality standards. You will handle raw materials, tools, and produce work instructions.

Key Responsibilities for Manufacturer Production Associate:

  • Operate press machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Clean, handle, and store wax tools properly.
  • Follow setup techniques and instructions for each tool.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
  • Inspect product to ensure they meet quality criteria.
  • Document daily operations and report any issues or damage.
  • Manage paperwork and move tools as required.
  • Set up and inspect new and reworked tooling.
  • Receive and inspect raw materials.
  • Perform monthly maintenance and write work instructions.
  • Adhere to safety rules and perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications for Manufacturer production Associate:

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with good hand-eye coordination.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
  • Must be available and willing to work all shifts 

Physical Requirements:

  • Read reports and use a computer.
  • Communicate clearly with co-workers.
  • Stand for extended periods, climb, reach, and move between departments.
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Use hands for gripping tools and visual inspections.
  • Work in environments with noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
