Job Title: Seasonal Warehouse Receiver Laborer

Pay: $17.50/hr Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Start Date: 09/15/2026

Looking for a hands-on warehouse position where you can stay active and be part of a fast-paced team? We are hiring a Warehouse Receiver in Roseburg to help receive, inspect, sort, and organize incoming book product.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys physical work, pays attention to the details, and can keep up with production demands while maintaining a safe and organized work area.

What You’ll Do

As a Warehouse Receiver, you will be responsible for:

• Unloading cartons and incoming product shipments

• Checking shipment quantities against receiving documentation • Inspecting cartons and pallets for damage, shortages, or overages • Completing receiving and discrepancy paperwork as needed • Sorting cartons and product by title and warehouse location • Placing cartons onto conveyor lines and unloading product from conveyors • Counting and inspecting books for accuracy • Sorting and stacking product onto pallets based on warehouse zones • Completing required receiving and breakdown documentation • Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organized • Assisting with additional warehouse duties as assigned What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills needed to complete job duties • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions • Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment • Comfortable performing repetitive, physical tasks throughout the shift • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexibility to adjust tasks based on workflow and production needs • Dependable attendance and punctuality • Previous work experience in a physical, warehouse, production, or similar environment preferred

The original position calls for at least six months of consecutive work experience, including experience with physical activities such as standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and similar job functions.

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse position that requires:

• Standing and walking throughout the shift

• Lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs, with lighter weights handled more frequently • Pushing and pulling materials throughout the warehouse • Frequent gripping, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and other physical movements • Working in an environment where temperatures may vary • Availability to work overtime when required, which may include additional hours before or after the regular shift and/or weekends

These requirements come directly from the client’s stated physical demands for the Receiver position.
