Job Title: Shipping and Receiving

Pay: $16.00 - 20.00 per hour DOE Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM Start Date: ASAP

As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you'll be responsible for managing shipments efficiently. You’ll work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

What You'll Do

As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality
• Identifying outgoing orders for proper delivery
• Fabricating containers for secure shipping of select items
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers safely
• Unpacking and inspecting incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, and recording shortages
• Communicating with shippers to resolve shipping issues
• Maintaining inventory of shipping supplies and materials
• Operating powered forklifts safely
• Cleaning and organizing the work area at the end of each shift
• Performing miscellaneous tasks as needed to support the team

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Prior shipping and receiving experience
• Forklift operation skills (a plus)
• Strong attention to detail to identify quality issues
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day

Location & Schedule: This position is on-site in Springfield and offers work hours from 7:30AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday.
