Job Title: Seasonal Lead Park Attendant

Pay: $17.50/hour Hours: Weekend shifts (Weekday shifts may be available), 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM Start Date: May 23rd

As a Seasonal Park Attendant, you'll play a key role in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere of the park. Working closely with park staff and the public, you'll ensure the park remains a clean, safe, and enjoyable place for everyone to visit.

What You'll Do

As a Seasonal Park Attendant, you will be responsible for:

• Opening and closing parking booth operations during your assigned shifts.
• Collecting parking fees and processing transactions efficiently using Square.
• Handling cash accurately and maintaining proper till counts.
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining park restrooms throughout your shift.
• Emptying trash cans and picking up litter across the park and shoreline areas.
• Restocking dog waste stations and park supplies as needed.
• Blowing sand from sidewalks and maintaining safe walking areas.
• Reporting safety concerns, damage, suspicious activity, or maintenance needs immediately.
• Communicating professionally with park guests and public works staff.
• Assisting with pressure washing, painting, graffiti cleanup, and other park upkeep projects.
• Following all safety procedures and staying aware of your surroundings to ensure safety for yourself and visitors.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to work independently and stay productive during shifts.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions, rain or shine.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Physical stamina to stand throughout your shift and lift trash bags, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Experience handling cash transactions is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Location & Schedule

This is an on-site, temporary position in Turner, OR. Shifts are available on weekends from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Flexibility for weekday shifts may also be offered based on demand.
