Job Title: Field Millwright
Pay: $25-$32/hr + DOE (additional $2-$3/hr for overhead crane certified)
Hours: Up to 6 days/week, 12 hrs/day (40+ hours on a regular weekly basis)

As a Field Millwright, you'll play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of industrial machinery, contributing to the efficiency and success of our operations.
What You’ll Do:
As a Field Millwright, you will be responsible for:
- Installing machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial establishments.
- Dismantling machines using torches, hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
- Moving machinery and equipment using cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
- Assembling and installing equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails using welders and various hand and power tools.
- Constructing foundations for machines using hand tools and materials such as wood, cement, and steel.
- Aligning machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, and measuring devices.
- Bolting, welding, riveting, or fastening assembled machines to foundations or other structures using hand and power tools.
- Performing repairs and lubrication on machines and equipment as needed.
- Selecting and attaching cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts and clamps.
- Setting up, bracing, and rigging hoisting equipment using hand tools and power wrenches.
- Splicing rope and wire cables to create or repair slings and tackle.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of prior experience as a millwright, preferably in the wood products, lumber, or mill industry.
- The ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Proficiency in operating engine lathes to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Northern California, working 6 days on with 1 day off during the day shift (schedule to be set at the time of hire).
