This Temp-to-Hire position as a CoGen Boiler Operator Assistant offers excellent hands-on training and room for advancement in a stable industrial environment.

As a CoGen Boiler Operator Assistant, you’ll work directly with the Lead Operator to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable boiler operations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who’s motivated, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow into a long-term career in boiler or mill operations.

 

What You'll Do:

As a CoGen Boiler Operator Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assist the Lead CoGen Boiler Operator with daily operations and maintenance
• Safely lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Learn and support processes related to waste and gas systems (experience preferred
• but not required)
• Monitor and assist in the operation of boiler systems under supervision
• Follow all safety standards and communicate effectively with team members

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Experience with waste and gas systems or boiler operations (preferred, not required)
• Reliability, communication skills, and teamwork mindset
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and be available for overtime as needed

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Roseburg, OR, and offers

• Rotating 1 month days (7a-7p), 1 month nights (7p-7a) (12 hour shifts - rotate 3 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off )
• Must be available for OT as needed
