Job Title: Millwright

Pay: $34 - $35+ per hour, DOE Hours: Friday - Monday, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM Start Date: ASAP 1st Week Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Work Schedule AFTER Training: Friday - Monday, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our operations and ensuring our success is passed on to future generations.

As a Millwright, you’ll:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and complete PM schedules to ensure peak performance.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems by repairing, modifying, and aligning machinery.
  • Work on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and gravitational components of equipment.
  • Conduct operational tests after repairs to verify functionality.
  • Order appropriate replacement parts and maintain detailed records on the “Work List.”
  • Install new machinery, interpreting and following blueprints and SOP documents.
  • Assist with pre-shift warm-up of machinery and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Operate forklifts, manlifts, hoists, cranes, and various machining tools.
  • Weld and fabricate using arc and wire feed welders, cutting torches, and track burners.
  • Uphold a safety-first attitude guided by ACES in all decision-making processes.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned and work in confined spaces when necessary.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Strong ability to repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, including machine alignment.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Competence in identifying various metal compositions and using millwright tools, including machine-specific lockout procedures.
  • Familiarity with fall protection equipment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina, including the ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
