As a Lead CNC Machinist, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring precision and quality in a high-speed manufacturing environment. You will work closely with engineers and production teams to deliver results that make a difference.

What You’ll Do:

As a Lead CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating CNC mill-turn equipment safely and efficiently.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications with precision.
• Loading and measuring materials to ensure parts meet stringent dimensional requirements.
• Diagnosing and resolving machining issues in collaboration with programmers and team members.
• Maintaining accurate production and inspection documentation.
• Supporting various shop functions, including manual lathe, EDM, and forging as needed.
• Training and mentoring other machinists to enhance team performance.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools and conducting in-process inspections.
• Strong math, geometry, and blueprint reading skills.
• Experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Strong leadership skills to foster a collaborative work environment.
