Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm Pay Range: $20–$22/hour Duration: Temp-to-Hire (after 90 days)Overview:
Selectemp is hiring for an Inventory Coordinator. The Inventory Coordinator supports company-wide inventory management by maintaining accurate counts, analyzing usage trends, and ensuring materials meet production needs. This position works both in-office and on the plant floor performing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and partnering with operations, purchasing, and finance teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily inventory control, including cycle counts, adjustments, and reconciliations.
Track, analyze, and report on inventory movements, returns, and usage trends.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; recommend process improvements.
Assist with receiving, shipping, and classification of materials to ensure accuracy.
Partner with manufacturing teams to identify non-moving products and reallocate materials.
Support destruction/scrap approvals and annual physical inventory audits.
Collaborate with Finance to maintain accurate inventory valuation and costing data.
Develop and maintain efficient inventory procedures and documentation.
Communicate inventory updates clearly to stakeholders across departments.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of related inventory control or manufacturing experience.
Proficient with inventory management or ERP software.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and teamwork skills across all levels.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
