Position: Assembler
Pay: $22 to $25 DOE
Shift: Monday-Friday: 7am-3:30pm OR Four 10 hour days 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
Start Date: ASAP
A long-standing manufacturer in Redmond is looking for a reliable and positive Assembler to add to the team. Duties and Responsibilities for Assembler:
Follow all safety regulations - report safety hazards, emergencies, and occupancies.
Prioritize a clean and safe job efficiencies must be continually improving.
Use fixtures or templates to build equipment as required per blueprint.
Assemble components using various tools and equipment
Verify performance of product and prepare for shipment.
Record all necessary data pertaining to product performance.
Interact with fellow workers to exchange information accurately.
Properly use bar code system to reflect time charged to jobs.
Follow verbal and written instructions given by Production Supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications for Assembler:
Able to read routers, bills of materials, and drawings to determine material requirements.
Able to read and understand blueprints.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, blue print, or schedule form.
