As a Warehouse Laborer, you will be responsible for:

• Unloads and stocks materials including plant supplies, tools and equipment.
• Loads supplies, tools and equipment to be dispatched. Delivers supplies as needed, sometimes to remote locations.
• Operates forklifts, overhead cranes and similar equipment.
• Ensures that materials are properly received, moved, stocked, accounted for and protected.
• Conducts inventories.
• Keeps logs and assists in preparing reports.
• Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Provides quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintains landscaping of company properties as needed including remote locations such as cabinets and shelters. This includes but is not limited to routine cleaning, weed eating, weed spraying, and leaf cleanup.
• Cuts up fiber scrap coils.
• Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and organized.
• Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Completes reports by entering required information.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• This job description covers the most crucial key and supplemental duties performed in the position, but does not include other occasional work, which may be similar, related to, or a logical assignment for the position.
• Other projects will be assigned as need.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• This position requires proficiency with computers and software applications necessary to complete job functions. Previous experience using Excel is strongly preferred.
• Ability to become forklift certified. Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Previous experience conducting inventories strongly preferred.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required.
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently or in a team.
• Professional appearance, customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• This is a drug free workplace, all employees are required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening, as well as random drug testing and for cause testing.
• Must be willing to work in Coos Bay and Creswell locations as well (you will drive a company vehicle for this travel)
