Job Title: Experienced Roofing Laborer – Immediate Hire!

Pay: $25.00/hour – $27.00/hour (Merit increase up to $30.00/hr DOE) Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an Experienced Roofing Laborer for a Temp-to-Hire position with our client, a local roofing company located in Roseburg, Oregon.

The Roofing Laborer plays an essential role in hands-on demolition and tear-off of old roofing materials. Candidates must have experience laying shingles. The ideal candidate will maintain an organized and safe work environment while actively contributing to the removal of existing roofing.

This is a great opportunity to help residential customers receive a brand-new roof!

Responsibilities:

• Roof tear-off at an apartment complex – removing existing shingles and roofing materials

• Laying shingles (minimum 1 year of experience required)

• Carrying bundles of old roofing across scaffolding and disposing of them into a pickup truck, dump trailer, or dumpster

• Cleanup duties (moving equipment, sweeping with a broom, picking up debris by hand)

Requirements:

• Comfortable working on a roof and scaffolding

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

• Must wear a fall-protection safety harness and/or work within a guard rail perimeter at all times

• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
