Job Title: Mill Production Labor  Urgently Hiring!

We are seeking a Mill Production Laborer for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a  located in Glendale, Oregon. The Mill Production Laborer will play an essential role in the daily operations. Your Primary responsibilities will include ensuring that the lumber is pulled off the green chain into the correct load using proper pulling techniques. You have to hustle, be self motivated and keep up with production levels, monitoring quality and working safely

• Pulling various lengths of cut lumber across a ‘chain’ placing it in carts of lumber and sorted by length and dimension. 
• Be alert and have hand eye coordination
• Be proactive and assist with repairs safely- proper lockout may be required for certain areas.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs repetitively ALL SHIFT!
• Ability to lift outstretching arms overhead using force to strike and pull towards your body. 
• Maintain sticker holders to be both full and organized on green chain.
• Physically demanding clean up and ability to work hard for long shifts.
• Keep work area clean at all times and prep/organize for the next shift.
• Green Chain Puller  must assist co-workers or Maintenance personnel in basic maintenance procedures   

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and make necessary decisions
