Job Title: Ballfield Maintenance

Pay: $18.00/hour Hours: Variable hours depending on need.  Up to 40 hours if desired Start Date: 4/7/2025 We are seeking a Ball Field Maintenance Laborer  for a Seasonal  position with our client located in Albany, Oregon. The Ball Field Maintenance Laborer will play an essential role in preparing softball and other sports fields prior to the summer season. The ideal candidate will have a combination of physical ability, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.  This opportunity is ideal for a someone looking to work outdoors and enjoys atmosphere of Albany, Oregon's  ball parks. As a Ball Field Maintenance Laborer, you will be responsible for :

• Preparing the fields for use 
• Operate motorized vehicles such as a mower and a 3 wheeler/ Groomer
• Provide customer service to both customers and staff
• Check equipment and lock up and end of night
• Perform light landscaping on the field
• Draft nightly a email report

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• The ability to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis 
• Ability to manage time with little supervision
• Have excellent customer service skills 
• Flexibility, the average week would be Thursday through Monday 7 am to 3:30pm but there are times on the weekends when you may have to prep fields at unusual times  including late evening and occasionally at night.  
•  A driver's license and a clean driving record
• The ability to pass a drug screen (including marijuana)
