Job Title: Production Associate Urgently Hiring

Pay: $17.00 Hours: Monday - Friday from 5am - 3:30pm - Will work 4 10 hour shifts, your scheduled day off will rotate (as in your scheduled day off could be Mon/Tues/Wed/Thur/ or Fri)  Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a Production Associate for a Temp-Hire position for our client, a local ice cream manufacturer who uses the highest quality ingredients located in Eugene, OR. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a great program and further your career in this industry, located in Eugene, OR.  As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for: Communicate with operators, leads and supervisors on what type of product will be produced Push boxes through taping machine ensuring there is a print on carton for traceability, and master case is being printed and taped shut during process Package and palletize finished product at the speed the line equipment is running Ensure food safety and quality through visual inspection of the finished product for proper seal of wrapper Follow color code regarding totes, ice cream, nondairy, soy, etc., as products have specific colors codes to prevent cross contamination Remove empty wrap and cartons off the line and dispose of them properly Monitor the equipment and inform the carton machine operator when cartons are jammed or being shaped incorrectly Production Associate will visually inspect product for deficiencies The ideal candidate for this role will have:  Must be able the ability to read and interpret documents such as Standard Operating Procedures A mechanical aptitude, basic math skills and attention to detail are also required Will be trained to operate and troubleshoot metal detectors Must follow safety rules, GMPs and company guidelines Benefits: Enjoy affordable health and prescription coverage after 30 days of employment Retirement Plan $100 Referral bonus as long as the referred employee works at least 160 hours Ready to take the next step?
