As a Classroom Aide, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting family goals, and tracking progress.
• Promoting positive parenting skills and child development through assessments and resources.
• Coordinating therapeutic classroom activities focused on social and emotional growth.
• Providing essential supplies and community referrals when needed.
• Documenting interactions and reports in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• 2+ years of experience working with high-risk populations, early childhood development, childcare or family support.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check, be registered with the Central Background Registry prior to applying,  and obtain necessary certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.).
• A Bachelor’s degree in human services, early childhood education, or a related field is a plus but not required.

Skills:

• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of child development and abuse prevention.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, sit, stand, walk, and perform other basic physical tasks.

• $20.00/hour
• Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM
