DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!!!!! Selectemp Employment Services has partnered with a reputable company who designs and manufactures monitoring equipment. They are seeking a Material The position involves maintaining accurate and detailed records, overseeing inventory

and is responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipments. The Material Handler job in Wilsonville, Oregon will be responsible for the preparing appropriate documentation for inventory control  Successful candidates will have a positive attitude, be reliable, and eager to collaborate with a team. Duties and Responsibilities for the Material Handler:

  • Delivers material and finished goods to production and/or shipping areas.
  • Maintains all data and records relative to receipt activities.
  • Counts, sorts, and places materials on racks, shelves, or bins; according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Ensures that labeling is clear and accurate.
  • Prepares kits for assembly by preparing the appropriate documentation, pulling parts from stock,separating the parts into proper bins/trays, and delivering kits to the appropriate department.
  • Updates MISys with all system transactions as required.
  • Processes and controls all RMA activity.
  • Performs periodic, special, or perpetual physical inventory counts as required.
  • Ensures the accuracy of all incoming materials by verifying items received against packing slips/invoices and assists in resolving any discrepancies.
  • Provides backup assistance to the shipping department.
  • Performs any other tasks as assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications for Warehouse Worker:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience and knowledge of warehousing and inventory control practices.
  • Ability to cohesively work and communicate with others in the company and external customers/vendors.
  • Excellent attention to detail and Mathematical aptitude.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of MRP, cycle counting, and inventory control.
  • Experience receiving, shipping, packing equipment, and coordinating/scheduling with UPS and FedEx.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area.

Job Details for Warehouse Worker:

  • This is a Direct Hire Position 
  • Shift: Mon-Fri 7:00am to 4:30pm 
    • Must be available for overtime
  • $22.00-$26.00/hr DOE
