About PRN Healthcare

Our story starts with a 21-year-old CNA named Pete Hietpas. Pete was diligently working in eastern Wisconsin with a variety of staffing agencies, but something was missing. He loved caring for his patients, but felt that staffing agencies were exchanging compassion for competitiveness. He was determined to change that. As a result, he started Nurses PRN in 1995, with the PRN brand itself dating back to the 1970’s. PRN’s goal was to become a model for the healthcare staffing industry – staying competitive in the marketplace, and maintaining a compassionate heart.

Over the years Nurses PRN grew and evolved as a nationwide healthcare staffing company, and therefore wanted to be more inclusive to all valued healthcare professionals: nurses, allied health, locum tenens, CNAs, and more. This led to the introduction of PRN Healthcare, which is inclusive of all of our healthcare divisions.

Our mission to create authentic, meaningful relationships with our healthcare professionals helps us set them up for success in their dream assignment, whether that be a travel contract, local contract, or per diem shift. This is all driven by the simple idea that better care for our healthcare workers, leads to better patient care – and this is all supported by a dedicated internal staff.

Our company culture is strongly backed by faith-based values and activities, to remind us that our success provides us the opportunity to serve and give back to our communities. This is the spirit of caregiving. This is PRN Healthcare.

About Britt Beiser:

Britt was very helpful. I had contacted her about one job, and after discussion we decided it wouldn’t be a good fit, but then the next day she called me with a job she thought would work better. This is the job that worked for me in multiple ways and I was able to get submitted early and eventually an offer. I was very impressed with her and she always responded back in a timely manner. I was very pleased to work with her.

About Brianna Williams:

Huge shoutout to the amazing Nurse Recruiter Brianna Williams! 👏 From the very first interaction, the professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine support were outstanding. The entire recruitment process was smooth, transparent, and incredibly well organized. Every question was answered promptly, and I always felt informed and valued throughout each step. What really stood out was the dedication to finding the right fit—not just filling a position. The encouragement, guidance, and consistent communication made a potentially stressful process feel easy and exciting. Thank you for going above and beyond to support nurses like me and help us find opportunities where we can truly thrive. Your work makes a real difference, and it absolutely shows Brianna !!! Highly recommend working with this recruiter if you’re looking for someone who truly cares about the people they place.
