I did not respond to him immediately for I had been busy, but as soon as I had a chance, I sent him a message telling him I was interested in the position he shared with me.
He had been very clear on his initial contact and requested my resume right away, which I thought was very pragmatic and efficient. Not long after I had sent him the resume, he gave me a call to speed up the process and clarify any questions regarding the position and my availability to work.
After the call he sent me a request to represent and an overview of the company's benefits for me to review. He was not pushy but I did feel encouraged by him to pursue the application to that position.
