IDR is seeking a Network Engineer. The role is based onsite at 195 South Broadway, Rochester, MN, and involves working with telecom/network concepts, the 7-layer OSI model, and network management tools. This position combines hands-on technical work with the ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.

Position Overview for the Network Engineer:

• Apply expert knowledge of telecom/network concepts and the 7-layer OSI model to support network infrastructure.
• Utilize basic telecom/network management and monitoring tools to ensure network performance.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to resolve network issues and implement improvements.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with minimum direction while maintaining high-quality results.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently, maintaining excellent organizational and time management skills.

Requirements for the Network Engineer:

• 2+ years of professional technical work experience in network engineering.
• Expert knowledge of telecom/network concepts and the 7-layer OSI model.
• Knowledge of basic telecom/network management and monitoring tools.
• Basic understanding of desktop and server operating systems is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team, with excellent communication skills.

Compensation Range: $65 – $68/hour
