This role involves managing patient appointments, verifying patient information, and providing excellent support within a fast-paced healthcare environment. Position Overview for the Scheduling Coordinator:

  • Manages the scheduling of patients for appointments and procedures across multiple departments.
  • Verifies and records patient demographics, insurance details, and referral information accurately.
  • Screens patients according to departmental policies and escalates concerns as needed.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, providers, and families, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Provides general office support and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes.

Requirements for the Scheduling Coordinator:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret information and take appropriate action.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
