IDR is seeking a Inventory Operations Associate to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Raleigh, NC. This role involves supporting warehouse operations through receiving, storing, and managing supplies efficiently within a busy distribution environment. The company is a leader in logistics and supply chain management, dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
Position Overview for the Inventory Operations Associate:
- Receive, count, and record stock items manually or via computer systems
- Pack and unpack items for storage and distribution
- Verify inventory counts against physical stock and investigate discrepancies
- Store items in an organized manner for easy access
- Mark stock items with labels or identification tags
Requirements for the Inventory Operations Associate:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in inventory or warehouse operations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment, policies, and procedures
- Team player who is detail-oriented and complies with safety regulations
