IDR is seeking a Tier 3 Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Duluth.
This role involves supporting complex IT infrastructures within the healthcare-focused sector, providing escalated technical support and leading critical projects. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing high-level systems and client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview for the Tier 3 Engineer:
- Support and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues at the Tier 3 level.
- Design, implement, and support Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Lead infrastructure projects and migrations, mentoring Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers.
- Work directly with clients and participate in on-call rotations to ensure system stability.
- Support Azure & Entra ID administration, network engineering, and security efforts.
Requirements for the Tier 3 Engineer:
- 5+ years working in an MSP environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
- Extensive experience with networking technologies including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Proven ability to handle high-level escalations and complex infrastructure issues.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills and experience mentoring junior engineers.
