Position Overview for the Global Requirements Lead:
  • Lead the requirements management process for missile defense and space defense systems, focusing on areas such as engagement management, track management, and sensor management.
  • Utilize systems engineering tools like DOORS for requirements management and Object-Oriented requirements definition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, systems, and specialty engineers to develop integrated solutions.
  • Analyze high-level needs and translate them into a detailed set of requirements leading to a fielded product.
  • Lead portions of engineering tasks and direct the activities of other systems engineers.
  • Work directly with customer organizations and contractor organizations to ensure project success.
  • Write and implement detailed engineering plans for project execution.
Required Skills for the Global Requirements Lead:
  • Top Secret clearance required.
  • Familiarity with DOORS or similar systems engineering tools for requirements management.
  • Experience in the space defense domain, specifically missile defense systems such as engagement management, track management, or sensor management.
  • Proven ability to work in an integrated team environment with systems, software, and specialty engineers.
  • Ability to analyze high-level needs and transform them into an integrated set of requirements.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience leading engineering tasks and directing teams of systems engineers.
  • Experience working with multiple customer and contractor organizations.
  • Ability to write and implement engineering plans for project execution.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with MDNT processes and methods is a plus.
