IDR is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join one of our clients technical consulting team. This role is ideal for a professional with at least 3 years of experience who is passionate about translating complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. The successful candidate will be a key liaison between our clients and our technical delivery teams, ensuring that our solutions effectively solve our clients' business challenges. Key Areas:

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Conduct in-depth interviews, workshops, and research to elicit, document, and analyze business needs from clients. Translate these needs into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between client business teams and our internal technical teams. Manage stakeholder expectations, facilitate communication, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Solution Design & Strategy: Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and developers to define and design innovative solutions that meet client requirements. Provide input on technical feasibility, scope, and project timelines.
• Process Modeling: Document and model current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Is") business processes. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Quality Assurance & User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Support the QA process by helping to define test cases and validation criteria. Facilitate and manage the UAT process with clients to ensure the final product meets all business requirements.
• Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements documents, process flows, and training materials. Provide regular updates and reports to project managers and clients on progress and changes.
• Client Relationship Building: Foster strong, trusting relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives and consistently delivering value.

Top Skills:

• 3+ years of experience as a technical business analyst, preferably within a technical or IT consulting environment
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive requirements documentation (user stories, functional specifications, use cases)
• Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies
• Proficiency in a requirements management or project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps)
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with web/mobile applications for software development

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of a specific industry vertical (e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Retail)
• Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or a Scrum Master certification
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles
