Enterprise Data Product Owner
Location: Atlanta, GA Schedule: OnsiteIDR is seeking an Enterprise Data Product Owner to support enterprise-wide data initiatives within a global organization’s CDIO (Chief Data & Information Office). This role will take ownership of strategic data products, manage cross-functional project teams, and align delivery with enterprise business objectives. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing data platforms, delivering high-impact solutions, and collaborating across technical and business domains.
Position Overview / Responsibilities:Own the full lifecycle of enterprise data products—defining vision, roadmap, and success metrics
Translate business needs into clear product features and technical requirements
Develop and manage product backlogs, prioritize development cycles, and manage delivery timelines
Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, governance, etc.) toward shared objectives
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to enterprise goals
Act as the liaison between CDIO leadership and technical teams, ensuring alignment and transparency
Enforce and champion data governance, security, and quality standards
Communicate progress, risks, and value realization to stakeholders at all levels
5+ years of experience in a Product Owner or Product Manager role, focused on data and analytics
Hands-on experience with modern data tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, DBT, Snowflake)
Proven success managing complex data projects in an enterprise environment
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive reporting
Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery teams
Ability to lead through influence and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data quality and compliance
Background working in a CDIO, CDAO, or centralized data organization
Product Owner certification (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent)
Familiarity with enterprise data governance frameworks and policies
Exposure to cloud-based data ecosystems and large-scale transformation projects
Experience translating strategy into roadmaps and measurable KPIs
Onsite collaboration with top enterprise data leaders in a highly visible role
Ownership of key data product lines with long-term strategic value
