ERP Technical Architect Terms: All Capgemini contracts are ongoing with a right to hire after 3 months. Conversion at 90 days is rare and pre-specified by Capgemini, but the right to hire remains in place. Target Pay Rate: $85/hr C2C Location: Chicago, Charlotte, NYC, or Atlanta Work schedule details: Onsite 5 days a week Details: Key Responsibilities: Architecture & Solution Design Define and implement scalable, secure, and extensible technical architecture for D365 F&O (Finance, SCM). Lead the re-platforming of legacy AX 2009 ERP systems to D365 F&O for both B2B and B2C operations. Ensure alignment with the Calandra End-State Architecture and enterprise integration strategy. Integration & Data Architecture Design and implement integrations with: Shopify, Espresa, Paymentech, SendGrid Databricks Lakehouse for Pet Registry and Microchip Registry Azure Integration Services and Microsoft Dataverse Enable and govern Dual-write integration between D365 CE and F&O for real-time data synchronization. Development Oversight Provide technical leadership for custom development, extensions, and performance optimization. Oversee code quality, solution reviews, and adherence to Microsoft best practices. Collaborate with functional consultants and developers to ensure technical feasibility and delivery. Data Migration & Platform Enablement Support data migration from AX 2009 to D365 F&O, including financial, inventory, and operational data. Ensure data consistency and integrity across legal entities and business units. Enable platform extensibility using Azure DevOps, Power Platform, and lifecycle services (LCS). Governance & Collaboration Participate in architecture review boards and technical governance forums. Collaborate with enterprise architects, delivery managers, and integration leads to ensure cohesive execution. Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of experience in ERP technical architecture, with 5+ years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. Expertise in: D365 Finance and SCM modules X++, LCS, Azure DevOps, Power Platform Dual-write, Dataverse, and Azure Integration Services Experience in large-scale ERP implementations and AX 2009 migrations. Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, data architecture, and cloud-native design. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Copilot, and Customer Insights Familiarity with IPPD 365 or similar delivery frameworks Expected Outcomes: A robust, scalable, and integrated ERP platform supporting B2B and B2C operations Seamless data flow and real-time synchronization across enterprise systems High-quality technical solutions aligned with business and architectural goals Accelerated delivery through reusable patterns and architectural governance
