We are looking for a skilled and experienced Principal Azure Solutions Architect to join one of our top healthcare clients in Austin, TX! If you have a passion for azure with a consulting mindset and are looking for an opportunity to work for growing company in Austin, APPLY TODAY!  Position Overview: The Principal Azure Solutions Architect will deliver high-impact solutions and MS services to help the company make a digital transformation to the cloud.. They will serve as a trusted advisor to internal and customer stakeholders, for establishing strong relationships and the understanding of unique business needs. They will Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Azure solutions, ensuring alignment with customer objectives, adhering to and Industry best practices. They will also assist the Solutions Architecture team with developing Statements of Work and proposals including solution overview, consulting estimates, software/license requirements. Responsibilities:

• Provide Microsoft Azure expertise, execution, and advisory services
• Working with the project team (Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, Consultants) to execute assigned tasks according to the timelines established for the given project/activity
• Provide Subject matter expertise to diagnose and remedy issues that are escalated by customers, project stakeholders, and/or other members of the service delivery team
• Project scoping and documentation proficiency
• Perform quality control checks on customer environments or project tasks as required
• Experience interacting with project stakeholders, vendors and customers
• Provide input for the future of the technology practice (evaluating vendors, products, solutions, etc.)
• Be an escalation point for members of the Consulting teams
• Participate in the initiation and execution of research & development (R&D) initiatives

Top Skills:

• 15+ years of experience leading technical azure migrations to the cloud for enterprise level companies
• Expert-level experience deploying Microsoft Azure solutions across the Azure platform (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and a strong understanding of Azure capabilities and limitations
• Automation and/or Scripting experience (PowerShell, VBScript, ARM, Terraform, Bicep)
• Infrastructure design experience (LAN/WAN, messaging technologies, database technologies, security solutions)
• Advanced knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk management solutions
• Strong consultative skills

Nice to Have:

• Certifications (Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Fundamentals, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop
• Cloud and Managed Service Provider experience as a consultant
