Position Overview / Responsibilities for the GCP Software Engineer:Join a high-impact AI team on a 12-month contract supporting the AI Team—a cutting-edge, cloud-based platform built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that empowers physicians and researchers to host and scale AI-driven healthcare projects.
Develop and support the AI Factory environment on GCP.
Enable and manage advanced Google Cloud features and capabilities such as Vertex AI, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Storage, BigQuery, and more.
Implement robust infrastructure solutions using Terraform.
Leverage Python to build backend services and tooling to support ML workflows.
Maintain secure, scalable cloud environments by applying expertise in GCP networking and security.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Support ML and AI projects with a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts.
Write and maintain automated testing scripts to ensure solution integrity.
Use Bash scripting for system-level automation and operational tasks.
5+ years of experience developing cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
Hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform, including services such as:
Vertex AI, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Run
Security, Networking, Provisioning
Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Advanced programming skills in Python.
Proven experience in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD and Pipelines.
Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in real-world systems.
Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and Bash scripting (preferred).
Google Cloud professional certifications such as Data Engineer or Architect are a strong plus.
