Job Summary:
Under supervision, this position is responsible for completing assigned printing jobs accurately and on time, ensuring quality results.
Essential Job Duties:
- Perform tasks necessary to complete printing jobs, including mixing inks, calculating paper size, and operating printing machinery.
- Set up the printing press for each assigned print job, including adjusting the paper tray, master, receding stacker, ink rollers, and moisture rollers.
- Verify the accuracy of printed materials and quantities.
- May set up, operate, and adjust inserters to insert and mail out customer and patient materials, ensuring printed quantities match.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Six months of experience in printing.
- Basic computer knowledge, including word processing, spreadsheets, and illustrating. Experience with printing operating systems, queries, and macros is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to carry, lift, and push/pull materials.
- Manual dexterity, hearing/listening, and seeing are essential.
