Join IDR's client as an Illustration Artist III and bring your creative visions to life from the comfort of your home! This 100% remote, 4 month contract  opportunity allows you to design innovative game content, collaborate with a passionate team, and enhance player experiences. Responsibilities: 

• UI Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain user interfaces for in-game screens and features using Unreal Motion Graphics (UMG) within Unreal Engine.

• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multiple teams to execute content aligned with the established creative vision.

• Visual Balance:  Create visually balanced content that demonstrates a strong understanding of legibility, hierarchy, and player needs.

• Image Compositing: Work with illustration and design assets to produce finalized images.

• Custom Image Creation: Develop digital illustrations, logos, branding, and icons.

• Style Guides: Establish and extend style guides and design conventions for consistency throughout projects.

• Problem-Solving:  Identify and resolve issues that impact work quality and innovate beyond current trends.

• Quality Maintenance: Maintain the quality standards for design work and review output for necessary changes.

 Qualifications:

• Passion for Design: Strong enthusiasm for contemporary design and a desire to push the boundaries of the IP.

• Experience: Proven experience in visual design, especially in gaming or interactive media.

•  Proficiency in UMG and Unreal Engine, design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout.

• Illustration Skills:  Ability to create custom illustrations and manage image compositing effectively.

• Collaboration Skills:  Strong teamwork skills to work effectively across different disciplines.
