IDR has a brand-new opening with our Financial Services client for a hybrid Chargeback Analyst opportunity. This role will research, initiate and respond to credit card chargebacks and retrieval requests. If you are looking to join a stable and growing team please apply today!
Responsibilities of the Chargeback Analyst:
Analyze documentation to determine chargeback eligibility.
Collect and prepare additional documentation as needed.
Process chargebacks and rebuttals, including issuing credits or debits.
Communicate with internal teams and customers about case statuses.
Report fraud and escalate processing issues as needed.
Requirements of the Chargeback Analyst:
Experience with Reg E and Reg Z reason codes
Strong analytical skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
Basic understanding of bankcard association transactions processing and charge back rules
