IDR is seeking a Specialty Physician Coder to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves working within a healthcare setting focused on specialty physician coding, ensuring accurate and compliant coding practices to support revenue cycle management. The organization is a leader in the healthcare industry, committed to quality and compliance in clinical documentation and billing.

Position Overview for the Specialty Physician Coder:

• Review specialty coding and billing across physician office, hospital, and surgical settings.
• Assign and validate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation.
• Review procedure reports, charge edits, missing charges, and denial trends.
• Partner with physicians on coding accuracy, compliance, and reimbursement.
• Support coding quality and revenue cycle initiatives.

Requirements for the Specialty Physician Coder:

• 3+ years of professional medical coding experience.
• 1+ year of specialty physician coding experience.
• CPC or CCS certification.
• Epic experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
