IDR is seeking an ETL Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lansing, MI. This role supports enterprise data initiatives focused on building, maintaining, and optimizing ETL pipelines that enable accurate reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong SQL background, hands-on experience with ETL tools, and a solid understanding of data quality and performance optimization. Position Overview for the ETL Developer:
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to move data across schemas and tables.
  • Extract, transform, validate, and load data to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
  • Optimize ETL workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality through validation and error-handling processes.
  • Support and implement data archival strategies in alignment with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to support data-driven initiatives.
Requirements for the ETL Developer:
  • 3–5+ years of experience as an ETL Developer supporting enterprise data environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or similar platforms.
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience in SQL Server and/or Oracle.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and ETL best practices.
  • Experience working with relational databases and large data sets.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to data pipelines and performance issues.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, shell scripting) is a plus.
