IDR is seeking a Back End Software Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Chantilly, VA. This role involves developing and maintaining backend systems within a high-security environment for a leading organization in the technology and defense industry.
Position Overview for the Back End Software Engineer:
Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs to support various applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, reliable software solutions
Utilize programming languages such as Python to implement robust backend functionalities
Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to deploy applications
Design and optimize databases using SQL and NoSQL for efficient data storage and retrieval
Requirements for the Back End Software Engineer:
5+ years of experience in software development with programming languages and back-end software design, such as Python
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with SQL and NoSQL
Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative and cross-functional team
Experience with object-oriented programming, RESTful APIs, and microservices
TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required to startÂ
