Position Overview for the System Engineer:
Our client is seeking a System Engineer
to join our team. This position will require experience in a large enterprise support role. Will provide development and support to the POS environment. While the role will be key to supporting POS, it will also include troubleshooting store applications such as our rewards program, monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning as well as other duties that may be defined.
Desired Experience:
-
5+ years’ experience in a System Engineer – Working in a large enterprise support position

5+ years’ experience with SQL, .NET

3+ years of experience working with POS systems in a large enterprise Retail environment

Hands-on experience creating API’s for integrating data into Data Warehouse

Familiarity with a ticketing system such as Remedy or ServiceNow
