Position Overview/Responsibilities for the SE Architecture Team Lead:
Act as the first line of leadership for all SE Architecture team members, reporting to the SE Engineering Manager.
Maintain accurate metrics of team progress and ensure quality control.
Support all team staffing responsibilities, including interviewing new candidates, addressing team performance issues, and supporting team member growth and development.
Define and ensure compliance with SE Architecture team processes.
Work in an integrated team environment with system, software, and specialty engineers to develop solutions.
Required Skills for SE Architecture Team Lead:
Bachelor Degree in Math, Science, Engineering or related discipline. MS is desirable.
Minimum of 10 years experience in a related engineering environment, or equivalent experience.
Secret Clearance required.
Understanding of systems engineering process and principles.
Experience developing system engineering artifacts.
Familiarity with the application and use of systems engineering tools for requirements management and Object-Oriented requirements definition.
Engineering leadership, identification and definition of desired capabilities, fielding of new capabilities.
System-of-system definition, integration practices and methods.
