IDR is seeking a IT Security Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Brentwood, Tennessee. This role is suited for motivated individuals interested in cybersecurity within a dynamic environment. The company operates in the healthcare industry, focusing on securing sensitive information and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Position Overview for the IT Security Analyst:
- Anticipates security threats that generate alerts, incidents, and disasters, and recommends controls to reduce their likelihood
- Analyzes incidents and security breaches to determine root causes
- Prepares reports that document security incidents and breaches and the extent of the damage caused by the breaches
- Assists in recommending appropriate security tools and countermeasures
- Maintains security monitoring systems and monitors security access
Requirements for the IT Security Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college
- 1-3 years of experience in IT Security (Security Engineer, Incident Response, Pen Testing, etc.)
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations including PCI, HIPAA, NIST, HITRUST, and ISO 27007
- Experience in implementing and managing security technology. CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Zscaler, Tenable, and Wiz experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
