Cloud Architect

Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 6 months though rarely exercises this right)
Location: Dallas, TX
C2C Pay Rate: $80.00

Responsibilities:

Develop and define cloud architecture strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals and technical needs.
Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, and security components.
Evaluate, recommend, and integrate appropriate cloud technologies, platforms, and tools to support project requirements.
Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to development and operations teams during cloud solution implementation.
Ensure solutions follow industry best practices and organizational standards for cloud security, performance, and cost optimization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architecture meets both functional and non-functional requirements.

Requirements:

8+ years experience in cloud architecture and solution design (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security principles.
Experience with cloud-native tools, services, and automation frameworks.
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with compliance, governance, and best practices in cloud environments.
