IDR is seeking a Batch Operator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This role supports an important DE project in an onsite environment, working across rotating shifts that may include weekends and holidays. You'll help ensure reliable application support, monitoring, and incident resolution while contributing to production stability.
Position Overview for the Batch Operator:
- Support the DE project through application and production support activities
- Ensure batch/job scheduling runs smoothly and efficiently to maintain system availability and performance
- Monitor application health and performance using relevant tools and production infrastructure practices
- Participate in Agile-Scrum processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements for the Batch Operator:
- Experience with Develop, debug, and enhance applications using Microsoft .NET framework and ASP.NET
- Strong programming skills and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Experience in SQL Server databases, including creating and maintaining indexes, stored procedures, views, triggers, and jobs
- Working with designing and developing data integration workflows utilizing SSIS and SSRS
- Experience with Splunk to monitor application health and performance
