IDR is seeking a Critical Operation Engineer II (Night) to join one of our top clients for Denver, Colorado. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical facility systems in a high-demand environment. Position Overview for the Critical Operation Engineer II (Night):
Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems within a critical operations facility during night shifts.
Ensures compliance with safety regulations and industry standards related to fire safety, electrical, and data infrastructure.
Supports the installation, diagnosing, and repairing complex HVAC, power, and safety systems.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure operational uptime and safety standards are upheld.
Requires expertise in building codes, safety practices, and data center environment protocols.
Requirements for the Critical Operation Engineer II (Night):
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting large commercial and industrial systems.
Expert understanding of electrical distribution, transformers, PLC’s, generators, UPS systems, and chilled water systems.
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25, and compliance issues related to fire life safety.
Proven experience in fiber optics, cabling infrastructure, and industrial safety best practices.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
