IDR is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Management Engineer II to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is involved in managing critical infrastructure within mission-critical data center environments, supporting high-availability systems and building automation across large-scale facilities.
Position Overview for the Data Center Infrastructure Management Engineer II:
Support and maintain critical monitoring and control systems in data center environments
Manage power infrastructure including UPS, switchgear, generators, and power distribution units
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cooling systems, including CRAH/CRAC units, chillers, and cooling towers
Implement and support SCADA, BMS, EPMS, and automation platforms such as Ignition, WonderWare, or Tridium
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal operation of critical infrastructure systems
Requirements for the Data Center Infrastructure Management Engineer II:
5+ years of experience supporting critical monitoring/control systems in mission-critical environments
Data center infrastructure experience with EPMS/BMS systems
Experience with power infrastructure including UPS, ATS/STS, switchgear, and generators
Building automation systems experience, including BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP protocols
Bachelor engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Related Engineering field
