IDR is seeking a Sr Data Governance to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data governance strategies within a healthcare industry organization, ensuring compliance, data quality, and effective data management processes.
Position Overview for the Sr Data Governance:
- Provide senior-level support to the Data Governance Lead in developing and executing enterprise-wide data governance frameworks
- Drive governance initiatives through change management and accountability measures
- Develop and maintain enforceable data policies, standards, and procedures across systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed data governance best practices into workflows
- Support defining roles, responsibilities, and issue management within data stewardship frameworks
Requirements for the Sr Data Governance:
- 7-10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field
- Proven experience implementing enterprise data governance frameworks in complex organizations, preferably in healthcare
- Deep understanding of data management principles and regulatory compliance
- Experience in data quality management and metadata techniques
