IDR is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure to join one of our top clients in Nashville, TN. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while supporting our client's location, focusing on enhancing and maintaining their cloud infrastructure.

Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure:

• Develop and maintain GitOps pipelines using Argo CD, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with Helm and Terraform.

• Design and automate CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications and Databricks workflows using Azure DevOps.

• Integrate Databricks with Azure services such as Data Factory and Key Vault, and set up observability tools like Azure Monitor and Datadog.

• Mentor technical staff, providing architectural guidance for development and infrastructure improvements.

• Participate in multiple projects, supporting the software development life cycle (SDLC) and maintaining source code control and release repositories.

Required Skills for Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure:

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS preferred) and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell, and experience with containerization (Docker) and Git-based workflows.

• Solid understanding of continuous integration and deployment best practices, along with Agile software development methodologies.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with strong analytical and technical documentation skills.

• Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and willingness to engage in pair-programming when necessary.
