Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Lead IT Merchandising Systems Analyst:
- Analyze and evaluate existing and future business functions and processes, making recommendations for process improvements
- Coordinate configuration changes for applications in the area of responsibility
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications to stakeholders to ensure understanding
- Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements for the development team
- Provide second level support in resolving business partner incidents
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including internal business customers, external vendors, and the rest of the Information Technology team
Required Skills for Lead IT Merchandising Systems Analyst:
- 6-8 years of experience in an IT Business and/or Systems Analyst position or related business capacity
- Strong application knowledge of SAP ERP and JDA
- Advanced understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the native SAP and JDA technical architecture/solution
- Advanced knowledge of tables and SQL concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook)
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology
- Strong knowledge of merchandising business processes
