Medical Receptionist
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a
Medical Receptionist to fill an opening in
Niagara Falls, New York.
Daily Responsibilities for Medical Receptionist
-
Greet and assist patients with check-in, check-out, registration, and appointment scheduling.

Verify insurance, collect copayments, update patient information in EMR systems, and handle phone calls and faxes.

Respond to provider inquiries and perform general administrative duties to support daily clinic operations.

Monday – Friday 8am - 430pm
Required Qualifications for Medical Receptionist
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical front desk/receptionist
- High School Diploma or GED
- Client requires PPD testing
Preferred Qualifications for Medical Receptionist
- 1+ year of clinical experience in practice (long-term care setting preferred)
- Experience in meeting the medical needs of patients with complex behavioral, social and/or functional needs
- Understanding of Geriatrics and Chronic Illness
- Proficient computer skills including the ability to document medical information with written and electronic medical records
