Medical Assistant / MA HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Medical Assistant / MAto fill an opening in Venice, Florida.   Daily Responsibilities for Medical Assistant / MA:
  • Back office duties such as prepping and cleaning rooms, socking rooms, triaging, taking and recording patient vitals, documenting medical history and chief complaints, blood draws and injections (please put how many sticks per day they've have done in the past), medication reconciliation
  • When helping up front - check in check out, patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, assisting patients with questions
  • Monday – Friday 8am -5pm
Required Qualifications for Medical Assistant / MA:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant within a clinic setting experienced in front and back desk duties
  • Prefers MA coming from busy clinic seeing 80+ patients per day.
  • Phlebotomy AND injection experience

Preferred Qualifications for Medical Assistant / MA:

  • eCW Experience
