Hybrid Pharmacist - Float
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a
Hybrid Pharmacist - Float to join multiple
small community pharmacies in
Lake City, IA and the surrounding area.
Pay Details: $60 - $65 an hour (based on years of experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (closed for lunch)
- This role will be Hybrid, with work from home days varying week to week based on scheduling needs within the covered pharmacies.
Daily Responsibilities for a Hybrid Pharmacist - Float:

Hybrid & Floating Role: This position includes a hybrid schedule, working both onsite at Community Pharmacy locations and remotely. The pharmacist will rotate among six Iowa locations: Lake City, Rockwell City, Sac City, Lake View, Gowrie, and Dunlap

Onsite & Remote Responsibilities: Onsite duties involve direct patient interaction, medication dispensing, and collaborating with well-staffed technician teams. Remote work includes data verification and DUR from a secure, HIPAA-compliant home setup, supporting tele-pharmacy sites staffed by technicians only

Community-Focused Environment: The role emphasizes personalized care over productivity metrics, with strong technician support and pharmacist schedule overlap, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered practice in a small community pharmacy setting
Required Qualifications for the Hybrid Pharmacist - Float:
- Must be a Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Iowa
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and pharmacy laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
