Alexa is fantastic! My experience with her and Gifted has been one of my favorites.
Shes very prompt. Regularly checked in which I appreciate.
My only frustration (which did not necessarily fall on Alexa) was surrounding finding out sick time hours I had accrued. It is a RARE occasion I ever miss work—but I texted Alexa early one morning post night shift bc I had been sick all night and didn’t want to report back to work if I had enough sick hours to cover my call out. She promptly responded she would check and let me know. I went to sleep post shift, woke up for work and had not received a response as to how many hours I had. I had no choice but to report to work sick, as I did not want to absorb the loss in pay. Come to find out, I had 14hrs accumulated which was enough to have called out. She stated another member of your team was responsible for tracking this, and had not gotten back to her for 24hrs. This is a response that I needed urgently in the setting of sickness. My feedback/request would be to display this information somewhere on the portal on my dashboard so I know exactly how many hours I have on my own terms, so I’m able to make urgent decisions on my own without delay. Otherwise, Oscar Salas the Director of Recruitment handled another pay hiccup for me and was one of the nicest guys who clearly supports nurses and cares for our well-being. Thank you, Gifted, for being an outstanding agency who doesn’t make stipends a battle and provides great care to your nurses. I would happily take another contract with Gifted as a result of my experience with Alexa and the rest of the Gifted team.
